You have been told you can’t live alone anymore and require long-term care due to chronic impairments and a reduced degree of independence in activities of daily living.

The assistance you need is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week by licensed and professional nurses. Their goal is to deliver the highest quality health care services possible in a home-like, safe and secure setting.

Our goal is to help our residents function at their highest possible level, remaining active and productive for as long as they are able. We provide resident-centered care, a health social environment, medical care and all the necessary support in a comfortable home-like environment. 

Room Accommodations

Residents are able to relax in their home-like semi-private and private rooms designed to insure privacy and security. All rooms come standard with a bathroom and lavatory, adjustable hospital-style bed, bedside nightstand, dresser, mirror and occasional chair. Heating and cooling is individually controlled. Complimentary basic cable television service and telephone accessibility is provided in all rooms.

Fine Dining

The dining rooms are large and inviting with little touches such as clothes tables and seasonal centerpieces as well as the restaurant style dining make mealtime more pleasurable. Guests and family often enjoy mealtime with residents. Our experienced dietary staff is dedicated and attentive.

Religious Service

Blue Valley Senior Living is proud of the variety of Religious Services that are provided to the residents. Services are provided throughout the week for residents to attend at their choosing, from community churches in the area. Having the religious leaders of the many community churches available is a great benefit to our residents and families who may be facing a difficult decision or just need a spiritual boost.

Social Services

Residents and families at Blue Valley Senior Living enjoy the access to a qualified and well-networked Social Services program that can assist with the sometimes-difficult transition from home to a nursing facility. The Social Services program assists in facilitating discharges back home or to other healthcare facilities while coordinating the necessary resources to ensure a safe and seamless transition.

Therapeutic Recreation

The Activity Directors provide activities to keep residents socially and physically fit. Weekly calendars are filled with activities held within the facilities campus and off campus. Outings are planned and family members are informed of events so they may have the opportunity to participate. The Activity Department provides opportunities for residents to socialize and make new friends. With our large group of volunteers a wide range of activities can be planned.

Transportation

Blue Valley Senior Living staff can assist in setting up transportation services for our residents including scheduled medical procedures or doctor's visits. Between the two facilities we operate 3 passenger vans equipped for handicapped making transports comfortable and safe.

Beauty/Barber Salon

Blue Valley Senior Living residents are able to have their hair styled, cut or permed in our private Beauty Salon and Barber Shop at each facility all of which are moderately priced.
